Hydrocarbon processing was the raison d'être of Fu-Tai, today it is still our focused market segment and makes major contribution to our revenue. Fu-Tai made substantial contributions to the development of Taiwan's Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries. Our services range from front-end engineering, detailed engineering, through project management, procurement and construction, to commissioning and start-up of plants.

We have been enjoying our longstanding relationships with the two sector leaders: state-run Chinese Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and public listed Formosa Plastics Group Companies. To signal their satisfaction with our service, it is worthwhile to mention that CPC has entrusted most of its tank farm jobs to Fu-Tai since 1978, and in year 1985, CPC awarded a contract for the design of a 289Km long, pan-coast 26” natural gas pipeline and distribution system. Similarly, when Formosa Petrochemical started to build a grass root refinery, they placed orders also to Fu-Tai for the design of terminal, tank farms, and trunk pipeline around the island.

Fu-Tai plays also an important role in the petrochemical field. Our first job can be traced back to a PP plant for Taiwan Polypropylene Corporation two decades ago. This plant is still running smoothly today and generating cash flow for the owner. When Formosa Plastics Group rolled out its mega-project of a grass-root petrochemical complex, Fu-Tai, accredited by the previous track records, had the opportunity and honor to participate in more than 20 plants within the said petrochemical complex. This connotes Fu-Tai's capabilities as well as its trustworthiness.
